Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th of December 1991. Matthew Matt James is the son of Manny James along with Patty James of mixed race. The mother of Manny James is caucasian and his father Nigerian. He graduated in 2010 from Sanderson High School and furthered to Wake Forest University where he earned a bachelor's degree in Economics in 2015. James was famous after his role as a reality TV participant on The Bachelorette. James was selected in the year 2020 to be the next bachelor for The Bachelor season 25, becoming the show's debut African American male star. The series premiered later that year. James was the ideal candidate for the job, as he is well-rounded tall, athletic and has a good sense of humor. Rachael Krkconnell was picked as his partner for the season. Following year, 2021, he was paired with the famous dancer Arnold for season 30 Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold placed 12th on the show.
